Why renew
Renewing KESS3 Master does not simply mean extending a duration. It means keeping the tool in the right conditions to work.
With renewal:
you stay up to date with communication protocols in the packages you already own
you keep related services active
you avoid interruptions and work with a tool that is always ready when needed
In the shop, this translates into something very concrete: fewer exceptions to manage, less time wasted, and greater operational continuity.
What remains active and what stops
If the renewal is not active, KESS3 continues to read and write with the purchased protocols where no renewal-related functions are required.
What stops:
- protocol updates for the packages already owned
- related services, such as Virtual Reading where available
- advanced Master cloning where applicable
- DTC read/reset
- OBD DataLogger for CAR where applicable
The key point is this: the tool does not stop working, but it stops being updated and loses a significant part of its operational value.
What the renewal includes
With an active renewal, KESS3 Master keeps available:
- communication protocol updates within the packages you already own
- Virtual Reading where available
- advanced ECU cloning for Master, where applicable
- DTC read/reset
- OBD DataLogger (CAR)* where applicable
- server-assisted services linked to these functions, where required
*DataLogger OBD (CAR)
Among the most useful related services is the OBD DataLogger for CAR, where applicable.
By connecting KESS3 to the vehicle’s OBD port, you can read available parameters in real time, record them during a test, and review them in the dashboard as graphs.
A practical way to work with real data, carry out analysis, and share information when needed.
The 3 renewal categories
KESS3 Master renewal follows a simple and clear logic, based on three categories.
Early Renewal
Main advantage:
you renew before expiration and do not lose any remaining days. The 12 months start from the current expiration date.
This is the most convenient option: you save compared to standard renewal and avoid any gaps.
Renewal
Logic:
you reactivate services and updates and restart with 12 months from today.
Reactivation
Logic:
you bring the tool back to the right working conditions, return to up-to-date protocols, and restart with 12 months from today.
